A Tribute to my favorite ,my dear *Ewan*
Ticket Prices: $40 | $35 SIFF Members (Advance purchase) $250 Tribute with Dinner & Reserved Seating Passes and vouchers are not valid for this special presentation with the exception of the SIFF 2011 Platinum and Platinum Plus passes (Platinum RSVP required.) SIFF honors Ewan this year with a special Tribute Sunday, May 22 at the Egyptian Theatre. We'll be screening his film Beginners at 4:00pm including a Q&A session with director Mike Mills and Ewan . Immediately following the screening, SIFF will present the Golden Space Needle Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting to Ewan, who will then participate in an on-stage interview featuring film clips highlighting his career. Special retrospective screenings of Moulin Rouge!, Peter Greenaway’s The Pillow Book, and the Seattle premiere of another of Ewan’s new films, David Mackenzie’s Perfect Sense, will also be featured at the Festival. A limited number of tickets are available for a special tribute dinner for Ewan. The dinner will take place at Pravda Studios immediately following the screening and interview at 8:00pm and will be prepared by James Beard Award-winning chef, Thierry Rautureau of Rover's and Luc Restaurants in Seattle. Tickets for the dinner are $250, which includes reserved seating to the film screening and tribute event.
